The second edition of Insight is out (A week after original release date but better late than never) and I must say that it exceeds expectations. It may be longer now but do not let that discourage you because the content is definitely worth reading. New sections were added like the medical section which we hope will be useful (If not now, later on in third or clinical years), the interviews section which has two wonderful interviews with the social club & the amazing professor Amjad Al-Shattarat, and our new (And personal favorite) section which is the House-Like Mystery that offers actual prizes so don't forget to participate in that. We would like to thank every single person who worked on this edition (Names can be found in the front page) for their time and effort. And once again, a very special thanks must go out to Aseel Abbad who has, once again, single-handedly designed the entire magazine, bearing inhuman amounts of work and pressure. And now that we have mentioned that, we would like to ask for volunteers in both the correction and design teams so if anyone is interested in joining, please send a message to my account or an e-mail to [email protected]. Before ending this post, we would just like to note that due to technical issues, the magazine was arranged from left to right so please remember that while reading (If you're reading an Arabic piece, start with the page on the right). Hopefully, we will fix this problem soon. Finally, we welcome your input which can be sent to [email protected] or to the accounts of anyone working in the supervising team (Also can be found on the front page). The comments box on the site can be used for your suggestions and ideas too. Thank you very much. Have a great day. P.S. We would like to apologize to both candidates; Mohannad Sa'adeh and Ibrahim Shanti, for taking up their time in interviews, which were not used in this edition due to the delay in release. Thanks must also be sent out to them for their cooperation and patience with us. Congratulations to Mohannad Sa'adeh, may God give him strength on his new journey and best of luck to Ibrahim Al-Shanti on all his endeavors. Rana Talj has drawn our attention to the fact that the printed version of the neck slides might have some missing information in slide number 16. The extra information can be found in the on-line version here.
Congratulations to Mohannad Sa'adeh on his sweeping win with 520 votes (239 votes difference) making him the university's top candidate! May this win bring prosperity to our faculty and may God help Mohannad in his arduous task. Better luck next time to our other candidate Ibrahim Al-Shanti and may his loss not stop him from achieving his goals or cooperating with our new union member for the betterment of our faculty. Congratulation to everyone! All anatomy slides can be found on the professor's site, they will be uploaded to this site a few days later for ratings. MSS Anatomy
